In a segment/game portion in Wowowee named Hep Hep Hooray, they are choosing "Rexona girl of a day." A girl who's having the whitest and smoothest underarm will be the winner.


One day in that said game, Willie Revillame (host of the show) told the contestants to raise their hands and show their armpit so he can choose the Rexona girl of the day. And one of the contestants, an old lady, raised her clothes to show her armpit.

Today is Philippine Independence Day (Filipino: Araw ng Kasarinlan, Araw ng Kalayaan) commemorating the country's declaration of independence from Spain on June 12, 1898 is a regular holiday in the Philippines.

The Philippine Declaration of Independence occurred on June 12, 1898 in the Philippines, where Filipino revolutionary forces under General Emilio Aguinaldo (later to become the Philippines' first Republican President) proclaimed the sovereignty and independence of the Philippine Islands from the colonial rule of Spain after the latter was defeated at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War.

The declaration, however, was not recognized by the United States or Spain, as the Spanish government ceded the Philippines to the United States in the 1898 Treaty of Paris, in consideration for an indemnity for Spanish expenses and assets lost.

While the Philippines first celebrated its Independence Day on June 12, its independence was only recognized on July 4, 1946 by the United States. Henceforth, Independence Day was observed on July 4, but in the name of nationalism, and upon the advice of historians, Republic Act No. 4166 was signed into law by President Diosdado Macapagal on August 4, 1964, proclaiming June 12, which up to that time had been observed as Flag Day, as Independence Day.

I've watched and read some nice and beatiful places here in Philippines that mentioned nominees for New 7 Wonders of Natures. And for us Pinoy, this is a good news.

So, we need to do something for our nominated places to be part of this 7 Wonders. We just need to vote these places like Tubatahha Reef, Puerto Princesa National Park and as far as I know, Chocolate Hills of Bohol and Mayon Volcano of Albay were also on that list.

Do you know these persons? These are the names of the medical practitioners involved in the highly controversial Cebu Surgery Scandal (released by the Department of Health). These are the doctors and nurses who performed surgery to remove a foreign object (a perfume cannister) from a victim's rectum. They were laughing during performing that operation. While they doing it, some members of operating staff recorded a video and uploaded it to YouTube. (You can watch the video here.)

I created this blog to show world that we are proud being Pinoy with our talents and skills. But with this kind of scandal, I don't think it helps us to be proud of.

The country is waiting for more names to be included in the list in the coming days, so that justice can be served.

I have my verified account on Paypal. I already made transactions using that account. I withdrawn my money from Paypal thru my Bank this morning but after checking my account this night, I was surprised! My transactions was being in status of "Temporary Hold."

What does this mean? I was thinking if i did something wrong or broke some rules and policy of their conditions. But I don't think I did. I thought that one of my buyer got some problem in our transaction, so I replied to resolve that case in my Paypal account.

But suddenly, a new message from Paypal was appeared on my email. Another "Temporary Hold" status. I did again what I have done earlier. And then, I received another email. And again, and again. When I checked my Paypal account, all of my transactions even the successful transactions I made, are all "Temporary Hold" status.


And not just that, my account access is limited. Means, I can't receive payments, send or request money, can't electronically transfer funds from my Paypal account and even close my account.

I only got $20 in my balance, but now, I have -$90. Do I need to pay that $90 to get my account active again? Are there anyone encountered this type of problem in your Paypal account? Can you help me about this matter?

Have you heard rumors about "World's End"? Is this true? It's unbelievable. They say that on December 21, 2012, the world as we know it is in for some dramatic and devastating changes.

If you watch the full video about this matter, you will confuse if you're going to believe it or not. Some of their theories seems to be reliable. But if we believe on those theories, we can say that lots of Bible stories wasn't true.

We'll in my opinion, we don't have to worry about this. We don't know when the End of the World comes. So, let's enjoy this life.
